Well it looks like the 2050 anthology of Phillip K Dick styled fiction for which my story AND THEY WILL NOT BE STOPPED is officially dead.
Never received anything back from the editor Sean Wright, even though I was receiving his emails regarding some musical side project that he has been engaged in with links to You Tube and all manner of things that had nothing to do with 2050, but I was hopeful it was just delayed. Not to be, apparently.
Ah well, that was my only story set to be published this year and to show how badly things have slid this website doesn’t appear anywhere near the top of the search results for "simon logan". (n.b. I am writing this prior to the launch of the rebuilt site which I’m hoping will shove me back up there again which is kind of confusing because the only way you could be reading it is if the site is now live with this pre-launch posts on it…)
I’ve been trawling through Ralan.com to see if there’s anything of interest that might enable me to quickly and easily knock out a few short stories for their perusal as I need to get more output in between n*vels. And I need to get more n*vels done.
*Sigh*
