First draft of Catastrophia story complete

Just finished the first draft of the story I’m writing to send to the Catastrophia anthology and it’s come in at 4,400 words which is good because it means I’ve still got a good 1,600 words breathing room before I hit their (admittedly flexible) limit.

So I’m definately going to give it another pass to flesh out the consequences and realities of the little apocalypse that I’ve created  (exact details of the story can be found in a previous post) because I think although the story is fine it needs a little bit more to make sure it appeals to the editor.

Hope to get that done at the weekend so that I can get it posted off to him early next week before the Xmas madness begins…
